It’s a Canon EOS 550D (also called Rebel T2i) with the 18-55mm objective and I had to wait 3h in line to buy it, at a store that sold it about 200€ cheaper than in other places. I have yet to understand how it works – I can’t even get the White Balance function to work – but I hope I’ll learn as I go. Recipe and more pics to follow!

I just bought a Nikon D3100, quite an upgrade from the sony cybershot point and shoot with 6 mpix!
Please, please share tips for low-light/non-blurry food photos?!?
I’m no expert, believe me! I’ve just started learning. Right now I try to shoot in the corner I’ve mentioned in some other posts when there’s plenty of daylight and play around with the manual mode until I’m satisfied… maybe one day when I get better at it I’ll write something though!
