We got here yesterday around noon (my aunt came with me) and, even though I was exhausted (I hadn’t slept more than 4 hours) we managed to walk around quite a bit. The first stop was Mauerpark, at a huge antique/second hand street market that takes place on Sunday. Unfortunately we visited it while our room was being cleaned so we hadn’t checked in yet, and I forgot my camera inside my luggage. So sad, because the market was awesome! It was full of thrift store finds for great prices. After checking in and grabbing a bite to eat we walked around some more, until it started to rain heavily and we decided to head back to the hotel for dinner.
I spent most of today at the conference, but when it was over I met my aunt back at the hotel and we visited a few places, too.

I’ll be back on Wednesday with more pics!

How fun! Berlin is somewhere I’d definitely like to go one day!
It’s a great city! Very modern. It was my second time there but I enjoyed seeing everything again.
Great photos- looks like you’re having a good time! It’s nice to see photos of you!
Thanks Christine! I’m very camera shy haha.
Nice! Berlin looks exciting! That bicycle looks crazy!
Yeah it was insane! It was only 1€ per person to ride it for a short while though (or 2€pp for a longer ride) so it looked like something fun to do if you were traveling in a big group.
Beautiful photos! I’ve always wanted to go to Berlin but just haven’t made it there yet. One day!
PS – That bike is insane… I’ve never seen anything like it!
I first visited Berlin in 2008, great city! You should definitely visit if you have a chance. And yeah, the bike was crazy… looked like fun though!
Hi! Looks so neat! Hope you’re having a fun time!
Thanks Crystal! I had a blast!
