Snapshots of Wedding Planning

I knew this would happen eventually, but I didn’t expect it to happen so soon: work/wedding stuff/summer plans/life have caught all up with me and I can’t keep up with everything. So, the best I can do right now to continue some semblance of blogging is to bring you snapshots of what I’m doing right now for the wedding. I hope you’ll forgive me and understand me. Also, this weekend is my bachelorette party, but before I leave on Friday I’ll be sharing another recipe from the wedding menu.

I went for my wedding hair appointment last week – and then to the beach, so it was a bit messy by the time I got home and took a few pictures

Here’s the (half) wine barrel we’ll be using to hold most drinks

The milk cans for water and kalimotxo (half coke half wine)

Drilling the hole for the spigot…

The Svalbo sideboards we picked up for 19€ are already assembled and perfect for the milk cans and as a bar

We also received the USB drives/favors and came up with a way to display them so people can grab one

As you can see, it’s simply a piece of wood with nails so the keys can hang from them

I’ve also been writing the digital recipe book that’ll be included in the drives – that’s the recipe that I’ll be sharing on Friday!

And of course, there’s still some signage to work on

As you can see, tons of stuff left to do and only five weeks to go!

Eeek! I’m so excited for you and your wedding!! Your details are beautiful! The hair looks great. The half wine barrel is awesome! – totally jealous about that one! And your favours are going to be so original and amazing- love how you are displaying them. Looks like things are coming along really well!

Don’t apologize for not blogging- it’s pretty much necessary when you have a DIY wedding to put together!!
