The recipe I’m sharing today will be something we’ll have for a mid-afternoon/early dinner snack for the wedding. It’s fairly easy to make and delicious both hot and cold!

Quiche
(The quantities are approximate)
- 2 onions
- 2 leeks
- 6-8 slices of bacon
- Store bought pie crust
- 2-3 eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 300g shredded emmental cheese
- Cut into thin, small pieces the onions and leeks. Cook them over low heat until done; then cut the bacon into small pieces as well and add it to the pan.
- Precook the crust at 350ºF or 180ºC until almost done.
- In a big bowl, beat the eggs, and add the heavy cream, milk and cheese. Add in the rest of the ingredients (onions, leeks and bacon). Pour mixture into the cooked crust and bake until golden brown.

How you have time to squeeze in quality cooking with your wedding planning is beyond me!! Looks tasty.
We’re cooking everything on the wedding menu beforehand so I can take pics and add it to the recipes we’re including in the USB drives as favors!
I’m with John! We didn’t eat so well on the last few weeks leading up to the wedding- I don’t know how you do all this!!
That quiche looks delicious!!
I’m glad you like it!
This sounds delicious! The only quiche I’ve ever had was a charred gluten-free mess by my sister in law, so I’m usually afraid to try them haha!
You should try them! Quiches are very very tasty
John read my mind!
I love quiche! Yummy =)
It’s delicious! One of my favorite dishes.
